This bedroom design was a birthday surprise for a client's daughter and was very rewarding to work on. What we found important was that, although she still liked pink at that moment, this room would need to be able to last her through her teenage years.  We wanted to give her the wished-for bedroom with a more teenage vibe, so we kept a neutral base for the design and added some pink accessories that, in the future, can be replaced easily if desired. By choosing an interesting  "driftwood-look" wallpaper for one of the walls, soft to touch finishings and natural materials, we added texture and an welcoming, warm atmosphere to the room. We created a desk with extra shelving for storage of her School books and a cozy reading corner with a comfortable beanbag to relax in. The existing en-suite got a makeover to match the style of the bedroom with stylish towels and new accessories. The look on her face when seeing the finished room was priceless!
