These Clients moved into their beautiful, newly built, modern and open-plan house 3 years ago. They are loving it but contacted me as they found it difficult to make the right choices for their open-plan living room furniture and decoration to create the modern, light and cosy atmosphere they were after. After I initially was asked to restyle their living room they wanted to continue this design throughout their home. I was very grateful to be asked to continue with their Hallway and Toilet after that, but it did not stop there. They now wanted me to work on their Basement / TV-room. Their wishes were for it to become a comfortable seating area in a similar style as the other rooms I had redesigned, a warm and inviting space  to sit and quietly read a book or watch TV.

Via my Distant Design Service  I created another Design Plan for this home  which I presented to them  during a video call. This works really well, as it is easier to make sure that everything I suggest in my Design Proposal is clear, and besides that, there is always ample time for questions.  As this basement did not have a lot of natural light I worked out a new lighting plan. Next to more task lighting, I also added more ambiance lighting which a cosy, inviting room absolutely needs. In my final Design shopping list I added not one, but a few options for possible arm chairs and lamps so they could pick their favourites themselves. It was a pleasure to work on this Swiss project again can't wait to see the end result!
